The 2018 Informal Reunion was held at Coreys on September 15th. The attendance at these “Informals” is typically less but the 28 classmates (and 3 spouses) who attended were having an enjoyable evening. Apologies to Linda Harkness, Martha Foster McDowell, Sherry Hayes Wellman and Penny Beachnau Illemszky who I happened to miss while taking photos. We missed some of our regulars who had prior commitments. Lots of laughs, hugs and stories filled the room. A slide show of past events brought back a lot of good memories. It was great seeing classmates who have not attended our reunions and even finding a ‘missing’ person. The Reunion Committee (Penny Beachnau Illemszky, Sue Beckner Mayes, Marc Bennetts, Dave Brigham, Sherrie Eastman Nunheimer, Laurena Jenkins Hoffmeyer, Kit Langenbacher Pull and Gail Sawyer) welcome your suggestions on making our Everett Class of 1970 reunions the best.
During this year’s event, we were soliciting suggestions for our 50th Reunion in 2020. Some venues have been contacted and we are looking at others. We REALLY welcome your suggestions. This is your reunion and we want to make it an event you will attend. Many are interested in including a tour of Everett during reunion weekend. Golf continues to receive positive feedback as well as our Friday informal and possibly a Sunday brunch. Please share your thoughts about what you would like to see for our 50th.
