Fellow Vikings….. our 45th reunion was a successful event. Friday morning started with golfing coordinated by Bob Bassila and Cathy Beaudoin Estrada. Bob coordinated a charity benefit for Starfysh to raise funds as a gift from the Everett Class of 1970. Starfyshʼs singular mission is to bring holistic, sustainable transformation to an island of La Gonave, Haiti. A donation of $150 will be made on behalf of our class.
Friday evening, we took over Coreys Lounge. The place was packed. Memories, conversation, great food and a background photo show was enjoyed by all.
On Saturday, our main event was held at Buddies in Holt. WOW!! They did a great job!! The event was attended by 85 classmates and 26 ‘others’ who came along either by choice or persuasion. For this event, we heard your responses from the 2010 event, and did not have background music. Everyone said this was a great choice for better conversation. All the feedback I heard was very positive about the buffet, service and location. More conversation, more memories, more eating and more great times were enjoyed by everyone.
Everyone was already talking about the excitement of our 50th reunion. The committee would appreciate any feedback you can provide regarding this event and our future events.
