Our 55th<\/sup> Everett High School reunion September 12-13 was another great success! We are appreciative for those of you who attended one or both of our events. From the feedback, we feel very confident that everyone was having a good time. The committee took your feedback received to heart, bumping up the start time of the main event and trying to keep the music volume a little softer so everyone could enjoy talking to each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our Informal, held at Corey\u2019s Lounge had a big attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thanks to Linda Elliott Enright and Cathy Beaudoin Estrada for organizing the golf outing. I heard there were 14 that played. If anyone took a photo of that group, please let me know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our Main Event was attended by 66 including some brave spouses. A big shout out to Buddies in Holt for hosting us again. They did a great job and there were many positive comments about the food and service. I heard from one of the banquet organizers that the staff said we were a really nice group and everyone was having a great time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am extremely thankful for my Reunion Committee (better known as the Village) including Sue Mayes, Gail Sawyer, Dave Brigham, Sherrie Eastman Nunheimer, Paula and Steve Krauss and Marc Bennetts. Without their ideas, help and support, these events would not happen. None of us are getting any younger and we are grateful to support each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019ve been having our bigger events every five years since graduation (with the exception of our 50th<\/sup> which was delayed a year due to Covid). In 2010, attendees expressed interest in minimally having an \u2018Informal\u2019 gathering every year where those that could make it came and socialized, ordering and paying for food and beverage on their own. We will continue to do our \u2018every five years\u2019 as long as there is interest and attendance. We appreciate any feedback you\u2019d like to offer to help us make decisions for upcoming events.
